The Rationale for the Automation of a New Diagnostic Thermography Protocol to Confirm a Chronic-Low-Back-Pain Subtype Related to Nociplastic Pain

چکیده

Gluteal syndrome (GS), a new low-back-pain subtype mimicking sciatica, has been included in the 11th Revision of International Classification Diseases (ICD-11). Low back pain is symptom, not disease, and main problem associated with it complexity. A plausible generator gluteal central sensitization process therapeutic target area, which are trigger points located within muscles. It hypothesized that dysregulated immune autonomic nervous systems (ANS) involved development. Changes ANS regulation, mainly through sympathetic branch, provoke nociceptor activation indirectly by vasoconstriction–vasodilatation imbalance, or directly sympathetic–nociceptor resulting widespread pain, hyperalgesia, allodynia. The minimally invasive procedure (MIP) uses thermography to confirm completely biological phenomenon, suggests pathological response noxious stimuli can possibly become an objective marker some nociplastic subtypes related points. This review provides technical rationale for automation MIP—a possible future diagnostic tool confirmation.

A comparative study of trunk proprioception between patients with chronic non-specific low back pain and discopathic low back pain

Introduction: Low back pain is one of the most common disorders in modern society. Disturbed properioception can be a possible cause of low back pain and can cause recurrence of low back pain. Previous studies have shown that low back pain reduces proprioception due to instability in the low back. Since the degenerative process of disc herniation is one of the important factors in exacerbating ...
